Scope
What the interior design project consists of
- 01Technical brief and concept: a questionnaire on habits and daily scenarios, a measured survey, plans of the structures to be removed and built, two furniture and equipment layouts, a reference selection and a preliminary choice of materials. It all comes together in one document, “Concept and Technical Brief”.
- 023D visualisation: photorealistic renders of every room, at least two views each. Materials, lighting, furniture and the volume of the space are visible before the renovation starts.
- 03Technical documentation: floor and ceiling plans with sections, a lighting plan tied to the switches, power and low-voltage wiring, elevations of every wall, junction details, ventilation and air conditioning, and drawings for bespoke furniture.
- 04Material selection and cost estimate: schedules of finishes, door openings and furniture, the selection of materials and interior pieces, supplier quotes, and the project cost estimate.

We set the boundaries of the service upfront, so there are no surprises.
- Construction, installation and finishing works: carried out by the contractor and priced separately.
- Furnishing and procurement: the purchase and delivery of materials, furniture and equipment. A separate service.
- Design supervision on site is a separate service: checking that the renovation matches the project.
- Decoration and final styling (textiles, accent lighting, accessories, planting) are covered by a separate agreement.
- Building services design (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, low-voltage systems, smart home) is carried out by specialist engineers.
- Approval of a reconfiguration is a separate procedure: our partner with the relevant licence prepares the official documentation and obtains approval from the authorities. All our projects go through the official approval process.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an interior design project cost?
The cost is determined by the floor area, the type of property and the package you choose. The Basic package starts from from €50/m², Standard from from €80/m², Extended from from €110/m². For an exact figure, use the calculator or go through it with the designer at the first meeting.
What package do you deliver under the contract?
A complete set of project documentation: the technical brief with measurements, the layout, photorealistic 3D visualisation, the technical documentation with drawings and wall elevations, material schedules and a cost estimate. Furnishing, procurement and design supervision are separate services that can be added to the project on request.
When will I have the documentation so building can start?
For a property of standard size the project is usually ready in 1.5–2.5 months, from the start to the handover of the technical documentation. We set out the schedule for each stage in the contract at the first meeting, so you can plan the start of the renovation in advance.
How does an interior design project differ from a standard layout?
A layout only settles where the furniture goes. An interior design project is the full set of documentation for the renovation: drawings for electrics, lighting, floors and ceilings, wall elevations, junction details and a cost estimate. Builders work from the drawing set rather than by eye.
What does my contractor get to work from?
Your contractor receives the technical documentation set: floor and ceiling plans, the electrical plan tied to the switches, wall elevations, sections, material schedules and specifications. That is enough to carry out the renovation in full.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. Most stages run remotely: the technical brief, the concept, visualisation and technical documentation. Measurements and design supervision on site follow a visit schedule agreed in advance. We work with clients both in person and remotely, depending on the project.
What is not included in the design project cost?
The service does not include construction, installation and finishing works, the purchase of materials and furniture (that is a separate service, furnishing and procurement), or official approval of a reconfiguration. We explain how the approval works and recommend partners who handle it.
Can I order only part of the services, not the entire project?
Yes. The studio takes on individual stages, for example the layout alone or the technical documentation alone, as well as the full cycle. At the first consultation we discuss the task and suggest the format that fits.
Is design supervision required, and what does it include?
Design supervision means regular site visits by the designer: we check the work against the drawings, record deviations and agree solutions on the spot. It makes a gap between the project and what gets built far less likely. The Extended package includes supervision for the first month; support after that is agreed separately.
How do I start working on a project?
Request a consultation: the designer will visit the property or meet you online to discuss the task, the floor area and the timeline, and to propose a clear next step. After the measurements you receive an exact cost and a stage-by-stage plan.

Three things get mixed up regularly. The difference is whether you can actually build from the document or only picture the result.

A technical floor plan with no living scenarios
It shows walls and areas, nothing more. Storage, lighting, electrics and wet areas are not worked through, so the plan is awkward to live with and the mistakes surface during the renovation.

Impressive, but it cannot be built
Visualisation shows how it will look, but not how to build it. Without drawings, junction details and specifications the contractor works by guesswork.
