The apartment was renovated a long time ago and only the kitchen needs updating, without touching the other rooms. The project works with the existing service points and with the condition the room is in.

Kitchen design
We design the kitchen itself and everything that connects to it: the cabinetry and storage, the splashback, the sockets and service connections for the appliances, the extractor hood duct run. The design drawings are ours; the engineering drawings come from the furniture factory, and we check them against the project before production starts. The manufacturing partner is chosen at the outset: local production or a supplier working with Italian and German factories. As a result the kitchen arrives on site to a room that is ready for it — the service connections are where they should be, the splashback meets the cabinetry, the extractor hood runs into a duct that is already built.

Starting price
The price is fixed regardless of floor area and covers the measured survey, the choice of furniture partner, the cabinetry layout, the layout of sockets and service connections, the splashback, the extractor hood duct run, task lighting over the worktop, 3D visualisation, the design drawings and acceptance of the factory’s engineering drawings. Manufacturing the furniture, finishing the room and design supervision during installation are charged separately.

Site measurements, requirements and choosing a partner
We visit the property, take the measurements and record the building services — ventilation, risers, electrics. We talk through how you cook and what the budget is, and choose the furniture partner: local production or a supplier working with Italian and German factories.
Result: Measured survey, technical brief and the partner agreed

Layout and appliances
We build the cabinetry around the work triangle, fit the dimensions of the chosen appliances and plan storage down to the drawer inserts.
Result: Approved kitchen layout

Splashback, lighting and 3D visualisation
We choose the splashback material and layout, set the task lighting over the worktop and show the kitchen as a photorealistic image. Revisions happen before sign-off.
Result: Coordinated kitchen look

Design drawings and acceptance of the engineering set
We issue the design drawings: elevations along the kitchen front, the socket and service connection layout, the extractor hood duct run, dimensions and junction details of the furniture. The factory prepares its engineering drawings from them; we accept those, check them against the project and clear any discrepancies.
Result: Kitchen released for production; service connection points issued to the site team

What’s included in the project and what isn’t?
We design the kitchen itself and everything that connects to it: cabinetry, storage, built-in appliances, sockets and service connections, the splashback, the extractor hood duct run and the task lighting. Finishing the room — floors, walls, ceiling and general lighting — is not part of this project; that belongs to a full interior design project.
Who prepares the drawings — you or the manufacturer?
Both we and the factory, but the drawings are different. The design drawings are ours: elevations along the kitchen front, the socket and service connection layout, the extractor hood duct run, dimensions, junction details and furniture materials. The engineering drawings are the factory’s: they follow its technology, machinery and hardware. We accept the drawings the factory issues and check them against the project before production starts.
How is the furniture partner selected?
Before design begins: the partner determines the technology, available hardware, timelines and budget. This can be local production or a supplier who will ship furniture from Italy or Germany. We choose together with you based on the project requirements.
Can I work with my own furniture factory?
Yes. If you have already chosen a workshop or a showroom, we work with them: we hand over the design drawings in their format and accept the engineering drawings they issue. If there is no partner yet, we will find one to suit the brief and the budget.
How much does kitchen design cost?
The price is fixed and does not depend on floor area — €600 per project. It covers the measured survey, the choice of furniture partner, the cabinetry layout, the socket and service connection layout, the splashback, the extractor hood duct run, 3D visualisation, the design drawings and acceptance of the factory’s engineering drawings. Manufacturing the furniture is paid for separately.
How long does a kitchen design project take?
Our part takes 3–4 weeks from measurements to the release of the design drawings. The schedule depends on the number of revisions at the visualisation stage and on the complexity of the built-in appliances. Releasing engineering drawings and manufacturing are added on top and depend on the partner.
How does kitchen design differ from a full apartment interior design project?
Kitchen design covers the kitchen itself and its connections: cabinetry, appliances, sockets, splashback and extractor hood. A full interior design project covers every room of the apartment — finishes, general lighting and the composition as a whole.
Do you consider specific appliance models?
Yes, and it is one of the main jobs of the project. The real dimensions of the oven, the hob, the fridge and the dishwasher go into the layout before the furniture is ordered, together with their connection points.
Can I order only 3D visualisation?
Visualisation is included in the project as part of the look approval stage, but design drawings are an essential part: without them, neither the crew nor the factory can reproduce the kitchen accurately. If you only need an image, that task is handled by a separate service, “3D interior visualisation”.
Do you design open-plan kitchen-living rooms?
Yes, the kitchen unit in a combined space is designed considering the adjacent area — by materials and visible boundaries. The living area itself is not included in the project scope.
Do you need an on-site visit?
Yes, taking measurements and recording the service connection points is a required stage. Without exact dimensions and connection points the design won’t line up with the actual room.
