A balance of looks and convenience meets guests from the first step: striking mirrors and a designer chest of drawers become art objects in their own right. A soft palette, the geometry of the lines and spare accents make the space feel both comfortable and open.

The living room became the heart of the home, a space where art lives alongside daily life. Carefully chosen pieces have found their place here: sculpture, painting and the accent shelving are not simply decoration but participants in a conversation with the room.

This space sets out an idea of contemporary gastronomic theatre, in which cooking becomes an art. The design brings together pieces from leading European brands: Modulnova, Cattelan Italia, Bonaldo and Bontempi. Each one reflects a confident sense of taste.

The paired composition of island and dining table makes the room especially practical: the whole family fits comfortably around it to cook together, to talk and to sit down to a proper dinner. The panoramic windows turn the morning coffee into something contemplative, with the city waking up beyond the glass and the embankment and the arboretum making a living picture that changes through the day.

The master bedroom is designed for rest: rich textures and natural materials create an atmosphere of complete calm. Handsome prints and expressive surfaces make the room a gallery of things to touch.

A neutral range makes the ideal background for the play of light and shadow, and the way the volumes are distributed gives a sense of air and space. The necessary contrasts and the accent light fittings make coherent compositions and turn the bedroom into a contemporary retreat.

The bathroom is striking in its contrasts, which echo the master bedroom. A formal mood comes from the many glossy textures and decorative accents, each of them carefully thought about and placed. Function has been worked out to the last detail: everything has its place, and every movement is easy and considered. The ergonomics of the space have been taken as far as they will go, which turns daily rituals into comfortable ones.

The lighting scenes change from a bracing morning light to something softer and more intimate for spa treatments in the evening.

The girls' room brings to life the idea of a romantic space with art deco touches, and it feels genuinely their own. At the centre of the composition are a statement rug and fine brass chandeliers, which set the tone for the whole room. The designers had a difficult task: to place the beds so that the sense of space survived. The answer was a bunk bed neatly hidden behind a decorative slatted screen, which makes a comfortable sleeping corner without breaking up the composition of the room.

One particular success is the girls' walk-in wardrobe, which opens straight off their room: it puts practicality alongside a sense of personal space, which matters a great deal to girls as they grow up.

The guest bathroom, which the girls also use as their shower room, is built on compactness, ergonomics and elegance. Large-format porcelain with the look of natural stone gives a sense of natural texture, and the gold L'antic Colonial mosaic adds a rich accent that sets the room apart. The Slamp light fitting, which recalls a delicate flower bud, catches the character of its young owners and brings a note of romance and femininity to the interior. Every detail here works to make a space that will please and inspire its occupants for years to come.
