I’m building a house from scratch
An interior aligned with the architecture and the building services from the design stage onwards.
For private clients
A country house means several storeys, complex building services and hundreds of decisions taken before any finishing starts. We begin the interior design with the way your family lives, align the interior with the architecture, and hand the builders a complete set of technical documentation. From concept through to a turnkey house design.

Who it's for
01
An interior aligned with the architecture and the building services from the design stage onwards.
02
Bare walls ready to become a home with everyday scenarios thought through.
03
Private and shared areas, children’s rooms with room to grow, storage systems.
04
Formal entertaining areas, terraces, social and family scenarios.

Scope
Result
We work in modules: each one is a complete, approved and properly presented piece of work. You receive it in full, even if you stop at any stage.
01
Technical brief, concept and floor layouts: a lifestyle questionnaire, a measured survey, zoning of every level (private, shared and guest areas), storage systems, a reference selection and a preliminary choice of materials. It all comes together in one document, “Concept and Technical Brief”.
02
3D visualisation: photorealistic renders of the key rooms, at least two views each. Materials, lighting, furniture and the volume of the space are visible before the finishes go on.
03
Technical documentation and coordination with the building services: floor, ceiling, lighting and electrical plans for every storey, wall elevations, junction details, coordination with heating, ventilation and water supply, drawings for bespoke furniture and built-in systems.
04
Material selection and cost estimate: schedules of finishes, furniture and equipment, the selection of materials and interior pieces, supplier quotes and the project cost estimate. With turnkey delivery, design supervision, furnishing and procurement, and decoration are added.

Process
Each stage ends with a clear deliverable you receive in hand.
01
Stage
We explore the family’s lifestyle in depth: private, shared, and guest scenarios, storage, and hosting. We visit the site, take measurements of all floors, and document the engineering systems.
→ Technical brief and measured survey
02
Stage
We develop layouts for all floors: zoning, movement routes, storage, and connections between levels. We align the interior with the architecture and the façade.
→ Approved house layout
03
Stage
We shape the interior’s artistic vision — materials, colour, lighting, and textures — and present key rooms in photorealistic 3D frames.
→ An approved visual concept for the rooms
04
Stage
We translate the concept into a build-ready form for every floor: plans, wall elevations, junction details, electrics and lighting, coordination with the building services sections, and material schedules.
→ A technical documentation set for the builders
05
Stage
We prepare the project budget and the selection schedules, and help with ordering items and working with suppliers. If needed, we take on furnishing and procurement, and design supervision on site.
→ Managed interior implementation

Questions
The Basic package starts at from €60/m². The final amount depends on the floor area, the number of storeys and the scope of work. Unusual geometry, complex junction details or lighting design add hours to the project, and such houses usually call for the Standard or Extended package. An exact figure is available in the calculator or at a consultation.
Bringing a designer in early cuts down on rework. The best moment is before the screed is poured and the services are run: that is when we fix ceiling heights, ventilation routes, the position of built-in furniture and the electrical points. We also work with a completed shell: we design around the structure that is already there. The principle stays the same, no finishing without a project.
Yes, “Architectural design” is a separate service at the studio. It covers façade solutions, floor-by-floor layouts and the structure. House interior design follows on from it and continues the architecture. Running both in one studio is simpler: the interior and the façade do not drift apart.
A country house interior design project takes longer than an apartment project due to the scope: several storeys, more rooms, and more complex engineering. As a guideline for a 200–400 m² house, a complete package takes 2–4 months (concept, technical documentation, schedules). At the start we set a specific plan for stages and key milestones.
The technical documentation includes floor and ceiling plans, electrical, plumbing and lighting drawings, and junction details. We hand these drawings to your contractor in a format ready to work from. Where it helps, we agree technical solutions directly with your design engineer, so the project and the build do not diverge.
Above all, scale: several storeys, routes between zones, high ceilings, terraces and utility rooms. The building services are more complex, with underfloor heating throughout, ventilation with heat recovery and scene-based lighting. The link to the architecture and the façade matters far more. The living scenarios are broader too: private, children’s, guest and formal entertaining areas have to add up to one logic.
We work with clients both in person and remotely, depending on the project. Where we cannot measure a house ourselves, we work from measurements taken by your team, so the project rests on verified dimensions either way. The concept and the technical documentation are approved online. Supervision is planned together with your contractor: site visits at the key stages, everything else remotely, with photographs and video.
The technical documentation set includes floor and ceiling plans, wall elevations, electrical and lighting diagrams, plumbing plans, junction details for bespoke solutions, and material and furniture schedules. Everything is drawn to scale and tied to coordinates, so the builders have what they need without going back to the designer.
Design supervision means support during delivery: we check your contractor’s work against the project, record deviations and agree corrections. Furnishing and procurement is the selection and ordering of finishes, furniture and equipment from the project schedules. For a country house both matter: the property is large, the cost of a mistake is high, and keeping track of everything on your own is hard. The Extended package includes the first month of design supervision.
Book a consultation via the form or the calculator. At the meeting we discuss your property, life scenarios, timelines, and budget — and we document the scope of work. After that we send the agreement and the invoice for the first stage. We start after payment and once we visit the site for measurements.
