Honestly

What's not included

We set the boundaries of the service upfront, so there are no surprises.

  • Construction, installation and finishing works. They are carried out by the contractor in accordance with our documentation: we hand over the full set of drawings and keep design supervision in place.
  • Kitchen technology design: equipment layout, zones and flows to the required standards. This section is prepared by a specialist foodservice (kitchen) consultant; we design the dining room and the kitchen as one connected whole.
  • Building services: ventilation and high-capacity extraction, electrical design with load calculations, water supply and drainage, and fire alarms. These are calculated by specialist engineers.
  • Approvals for food-service venues with the relevant public-health and fire-safety authorities. A separate process: we will outline it and put you in touch with partners we have worked with.
  • Furnishing and procurement: purchasing furniture, bar and kitchen equipment. We handle this as a separate service under the approved specifications.

Why us

Why ARTEVRIKA

01

Kitchen technology and HoReCa standards as the foundation

Ventilation, staff flows and HoReCa design requirements are built into the project from the start, so nothing has to be reworked before opening.

02

Gastro concept before the layout

The venue format and the guest profile set the zoning, and the layout follows from them.

03

Café and restaurant design built for table turnover

The placing of tables and the bar works for service speed and average spend.

04

A full project package for the contractor

The venue opens on time and exactly as envisioned, without on-site improvisation.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does restaurant or café design cost?

Pricing is worked out per m² and depends on the format, the floor area and the scope of the project. It covers the concept, the layout, 3D visualisation and technical documentation. For an exact figure, use the calculator or go through it on the first call.

Do you take kitchen technology and HoReCa standards into account?

Yes. The service links between the dining room and the kitchen are set at the layout stage. Ventilation, hygiene requirements and the demands of the inspecting authorities are part of the project, rather than rework after the venue is signed off.

What is a gastro concept and why does it come before the layout?

The gastro concept sets the venue’s format, its audience, the menu and the price bracket. Only then does the layout stop being guesswork: guest flow, the number of covers and the bar area are designed for one specific service model, not for the market average.

Can you develop a scalable concept for a chain?

Yes, we develop concepts that scale while keeping one signature look. The concept sets out the layout principles, the colour palette and the signature elements, so each new site opens faster and costs less to launch.

How does the dining room layout affect table turnover?

The distance between tables, the routes waiters take and the width of the aisles decide how fast service runs. A well-planned dining room takes 15–30% more guests an hour without feeling crowded, and that can be checked at the drawing stage.

What are the project development timelines?

The concept and an approved layout take about 4–6 weeks. The full set of technical documentation takes another 6–10 weeks, depending on the floor area and the complexity of the venue. We fix the detailed schedule with its milestones at the start.

What is included in the technical documentation?

Floor, ceiling and wall plans, lighting and electrical layouts, wall elevations, sections, junction details, and schedules of materials and equipment. The contractor receives the complete set and builds exactly to the design.

Do you manage the project as a turnkey service?

We design and supervise, but we do not build ourselves. Design supervision means checking that the venue is being built to the project: site visits, review of any deviation, and control of what is delivered and installed. The client chooses the contractor; we help set the requirements and judge the work.

How long does it take to get the project approved by the health and fire-safety authorities?

Approvals for the kitchen block, the ventilation and the escape routes typically take several weeks and depend on the venue type and local requirements. We assemble the document package to those requirements from the outset, so nothing has to be reworked after submission. On site, design supervision (/services/supervision) checks that the installation follows the approved project.

Where should we start working with the studio?

Send us an enquiry for a consultation, or use the calculator for a preliminary figure. On the first call we settle the format, the floor area and the goals, and then prepare a proposal with the scope of the project and a stage plan.
