About the project
A 110 m² apartment designed for a family with a teenager: an open shared space with kitchen, dining area and living room sits alongside a secluded children's room, a personal study and a bedroom. The fusion style brings together a warm beige-and-chocolate palette, accents of deep blue and burgundy, and bespoke lighting solutions in a cohesive, expressive interior.
Client request
The family came to us wanting a fully-fledged living interior that could accommodate different rhythms of life: a shared space for relaxing and hosting guests, a separate zone for their teenage child, and a quiet study for work. They needed clear functionality without losing atmosphere: a single concept across 110 m² in which every zone has its own character.
Challenge
To create a distinctive, cohesive interior for a family with a teenager, organically combining elegant classicism with the ease of contemporary style. The shared kitchen-dining-living space needed to be visually divided into zones without adding unnecessary walls.
Concept
The concept is built on fusion style: elegant classicism is softened by the ease of a contemporary approach, and each room takes on its own tone within a shared palette. Warm beige and chocolate shades create cosiness in the shared areas, muted blue and brown give the bedroom intimacy, and natural wood brings calm to the study. Lighting accents, bespoke chandeliers with expressive sculptural form, become the dominant feature in each room. The bathroom completes the concept with the monumental quality of pale marble and the refinement of dark wood.
Result
The apartment is kept in the best traditions of fusion: a classical foundation is paired with contemporary furniture of simple form, and zoning is defined by furnishings and the building's architecture. The warm beige-and-chocolate palette is enlivened by deep blue and burgundy accents, with expressive bespoke light fittings as the dominant feature.

01 Zone
Kitchen-dining-living room
The heart of the apartment is the shared space that combines kitchen, dining area and living room, divided visually into zones by furniture and by the architecture of the building. The dining table looks particularly good set opposite a tall bay window, with daylight pouring through the glass. This corner invites long, easy gatherings with the people closest to you. The dominant elements of the design are the light fittings, which hold the eye with their unusual shapes. The warm beige-and-chocolate palette of the lounge area is enlivened by contrasting but unobtrusive touches of deep blue and burgundy.
02 Zone
Bedroom
The bedroom is both functional and comfortable, as intended from the outset in the apartment's design project. The solidity of the simply shaped furniture, the essence of muted blue and brown tones, and the languid drape of the window curtains are lightened by the airy, lace-like bespoke chandelier. It creates the optical illusion of fluttering white moths, bringing an ethereal, translucent elegance to the room's atmosphere.
03 Zone
Children's room
According to the design project, the teenager's room is filled with light and air, largely thanks to the simplicity of its furnishings. Numerous open shelves, a substantial desk, a comfortable bed and a roomy bedside table are executed with graphic clarity, softened slightly by the flowing shape of the armchairs. A spirit of Scandinavian restraint and simplicity governs the room.
04 Zone
Study
The study suits more than mental and creative work: it is a pleasant place to sit and think, feet curled up on the sofa. The design gives the space every shade of natural wood, calming, quiet and organic. The exception is a handsome office chair with a high upholstered back in fashionable ecru and a compact chest of drawers to match. The light fitting holds the eye with its unusual form and reads as a molecule with its complex structure.
05 Zone
Bathroom
The bathroom is designed in the spirit of fusion: classical graphite panelled fronts sit alongside contemporary light fittings and a mirror. Warm marble and soft contour lighting create a calm, enveloping atmosphere. The chandelier's floating rings and the round mirror become an expressive graphic focal point of the space.
