About the project
A European clothing boutique shaped by radial architecture, layered panels and concealed diffused lighting.
Concept
Alibi is a European clothing boutique conceived as a spatial sequence that unfolds from the entrance into the depth of the store. Its irregular curved shell becomes a compositional device: a radial system of walls and ceilings guides visitors through the collection and reveals visual accents in stages.
The key gesture is a field of layered planar panels, offset like scales. Diffused light sources are concealed behind them, making light part of the architecture: it directs movement and produces soft depth without visual excess.
The palette contrasts natural wood, pale neutral surfaces, matte graphite metal and concrete flooring. Warm ochre tones support the brand’s European character, while the neutral background keeps attention on the clothing. Custom furniture extends the idea through simple volumes, deliberately raw timber elements and fragmented surfaces that echo the interior’s complex geometry.
The result is an intimate retail environment where architecture, lighting, fixtures and display form a single route.

Sales area
The sales area is designed as a sequence of unfolding perspectives. The rhythm of radial walls and layered panels guides visitors from the entrance toward the collections, while concealed diffused lighting emphasizes the depth of the space and the direction of movement.
Natural wood, matte graphite metal, and a concrete floor create a calm material foundation. Warm ochre accents complement the clothing and accessories without distracting from the display.

Fitting rooms
Fitting rooms are located deeper within the boutique as a more intimate part of the route. Here, the architectural rhythm becomes calmer, and the soft diffused lighting provides comfortable light for choosing clothes.
Tactile wood surfaces and neutral tones continue the interior’s visual language, preserving a sense of privacy and spatial coherence.
